Auditions - 23rd July

"Season's Greetings" - no, it's not an early Christmas salutation! It's the chosen production for November 2013.

This is Alan Ayckbourn's black often farcical comedy about a dysfunctional family Christmas, set over Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day in an average English suburban house. With five male and four female characters, it presents casting and staging challenges. But we enjoy challenges - oh yes we do!

If you’re interested in auditioning for a part and live in or near the village, contact us via the website or call a committee member. Back stage crew welcome also!

Why do we say, 'living in the village or close by'? Well, we usually rehearse two evenings a week for 10 weeks or so at a venue in the village. Additionally, the production week has three rehearsals and four performances and we find that if anyone has a distance to travel, it can be a challenge keeping the commitment to attend rehearsals.

Auditions will be on Tuesday 23rd July from 7:30pm  at the Village Hall, School Lane in South Cerney - GL7 5TU for anyone with Sat Nav.

Come along, you never know, as with anything you do in life, there's a risk you might enjoy it!
